At LeBoeuf Lasing we strive to fulfill every request. We are happy to offer custom laser engraving on a variety of materials. The FLB soccer team purchased a large count of Artic water bottles, and we engraved a custom image, message, and player number onto each bottle. Limitations

Our current engraving system has a few limitations. The laser has a maximum dimension for rectangular material is 12 x 8 x 4 inches. We can also engrave round stock with dimensions of 12 inches long by 2.5 inches in diameter. We are working on a larger laser system, and will post updates on the project here!

Materials

Our laser cutter is a 10.5 micro-meter wavelength laser. A CO2 laser tube. It has a couple of limitations on what materials it can cut engraved. It can engrave every material that can burn. This rules out metal and ceramic, but organics and plastics are fair game.

The laser can cut anything it can engrave up to 1/4 inch thick. HDPE is a great plastic to cut and has great structural properties for building high-precision mechanisms.

Viable Materials:

Plywood, hardwoods, coasters, resin, utensils, plastics, leather, and powder-coated metal (The powder coat is removed)
